By the way, if you play duel mode, right after you choose the first option, there is an option that shows all the secret skills in game and you can dissable or enable them.
I'll check if I said it right.

Well...I didn't looked to much but I think eventdata have all the values bosses join etc and scenario is data from eventdata put in order for the game right Venom?

yeah actually, that sounds right. I can't explain it much better than that. But yeah it starts with eventdata then you use that info to create the scenario.txt.

Well I have 190 fighters the first of them they are weird their personal status are at max but they have small values and are not equal (how could this be) and the ones from the last 186 187 188 189 THEY all good max values BUT THE SPEED IS NOT THE SAME (all basis and personal status the same as the first fighters) then I copied all the values from fighter 0 (first) to fighter 189 (last) but now the last fighters have the same weird values as the first one but after I changed 189 (the value before the name) to 200 it worked and have max values but if I try to change now to the first fighter and put 200 instead of 0 is not working...what the hell is happening, do I need to edit something else too, (I chose every fighter for story mode) Is this NEUTRALCHARADATA fault scratch
Well it seems basic really make the values bigger but I dont understand why donțt everyone can have the same values???

hmmm, I'm having a bit of difficulty following you. What is your goal here? What are you trying to accomplish? You should probably send me your personalstatus, basis, and familystatus files. Please be aware that I didn't really mess around with the personalstatus and familystatus files so if you did perhaps you've done something wrong...What I do know about the familystatus file is it has a number cap on the stats. If you try to make any of the values higher than 6 very strange things happen. It is recommended that you don't make any values higher than 6. As for personalstatus...the only line I messed with was the first line which was the first character on storycharadata(ALEX/KUNIO). It seems that the familystatus and personalstatus files, as well as basis, work in conjunction to make the stats for the characters...its a bit complicated.

Also, I'm not sure what the exact difference is with personalstatus and familystatus, I think personalstatus determines the stats of the characters you get to play as, and family status controls the stats that bosses have. When a boss character joins you, I don't think their stats are necessarily the same as they are when you fought them. Don't completely take my word for it this is just what I'm assuming based on my experimentation with the files.

I wouldn't worry about neutralcharadata, this is only for characters like Roxy or Cyndi(the girl characters) or others like Sanki from my game that come out to say stuff to you in the beginning cutscene. They shouldn't have any effect on any characters from storycharadata.

In the file personalstatus the values are P,K,W,T,A,J,G,H,E,S,
P=Punch
K=Kick
W=Weapon
T=Throw
A=Agility (Speed)
J=Jump
G=Guard (How often you guard)
H=Hardness (Defense)
E=Endurance (HP 1)
S=Strenght (HP 2)

Venom am I right help me tomorrow I want to add these values Smile

and I tried to test them with a random character and it worked when I changed them but when I tried with the first two characters they decreased (weird. the oposite) changed and they all have the same values except names faces and colors...why?

I finally figured out the values problem  Smile  Basis/PersonalType/FamilyType
FamilyType is the base value
Basis is the values that multiplies FamilyType values
PersonalType is only used by your Characters and it adds + to the base values.





Group 1-This is how the characters acts at the beginning (no anger no depressive)
Group 2-This is how the characters acts when he is angry
Group 3-This is how the characters acts when he is depressive

damn, good job dude...I kinda assumed thats what those did but you've confirmed it. It's hard to get a full understanding of whats going on in the text files until you actually see them work for yourself. My explanations alone aren't enough. Well, I hoped I helped you a little.

Venom in my jidaigeki I added my hockey field today (Stage 8-7 new) I used your soccer stage as the base but in this stage now you can move in all the field not only in the bottom half.
This stage edit is easier than in kd Smile  Cool

hey cool man! I see you noticed that there is a spot in the soccer field that has an invisible wall...I don't know how to get rid of it. If you want you can try to figure out how to. So now you've dabbled into the stage making....it's actually kind of a pain in the ass for areas with a lot of obstacles in them but a stage like the hockey arena or the soccer field are easy because they are mostly flat. I had a hell of a time trying to create that factory rooftop area by scratch.

Its not so hard if you read and analyse all in the text, and that invisible wall you says its only because the stage is only half you just need to expand the height in the text file.

Well I only made it for me hockey file but they are almost the same (my field have bigger gates) anyway I will send it to you after I make it for that field (now I add some stages) but I want to know how do you lower the bridge in 2-6 and how do you open the gate in 9-5?

woah cool...why the hell didn't I think of doing this....looks like the learner has become the master.

As for making the gate open and making the bridge appear it has to do with the #AREACHANGESSTART# on the eventdata...I'm pretty sure its 14 in the scenario text.
